Come out next Monday to support our 8th grade boys basketball players and cheerleaders!

May your Christmas be full of peace and joy!

2nd grade presented a Reader's Theater for the kindergarten and 1st grade about a Gingerbread Man that leads the North Pole Crew on a very merry chase! The performers did a fantastic job full of excitement and the audience was captivated!

Preschool at St. Mark has a tradition of exchanging books with their friends. Yesterday, the students were so excited to give a gift to their friends and see what book they got and who gave it to them! Promoting the joy of literacy is a huge part of our passion in preschool.

Preschool had their Christmas party yesterday! Pajamas, painting snowflakes, cookie decorating, a snow sensory bin, snowball toss, an epic dance party, snacks and watching The Star made for a fabulous day!

Our fourth graders worked hard on writing blessings and stuffing bags full of goodies to give to families spending Christmas with their babies in the NICU. Our hearts are FULL. Thank you to everyone who donated to our service project!

First Graders enjoyed doing research on an animal of their choice, and then writing a nonfiction All About informational book. Partners read each other’s books, and then learned about each other’s animal.

Kindergarten students getting in the spirit!

Some holly, jolly junior high students in their festive holiday headwear today!

Happy Feast of Our Lady of Guadalupe! Our kindergarten students made tilmas with Our Lady’s image on them and processed into Mass with red roses, which they laid at her portrait.

Today is the anniversary of Venerable Archbishop Fulton Sheen's death. Let us pray that he will soon be named a Saint and that he prays for us!

Student Council starts their Candy Cane sales next week! Lookout for flyers from preschool to 2nd grade to make the sales easier for our primary students!

Join us in preparing our hearts for Christmas with Simbang Gabi. Maybe adding a new to you tradition is just what you need to shake things up and put everything into perspective. Look in the Marksmen Memo today for more information and additional dates for the nine masses.

Preschool is in the Christmas spirit today, building 3D structures with gum drops, searching for jingle bells in shaving cream, roll, count and draw candy canes and a washi tape Christmas stocking art invitation. Plus, I'm sure I heard some Christmas singing in there!

7th grade had an awesome time at the Jump Simulation Center! Students got to see cells from their cheek under a microscope, learned about MRIs, made a cast mold of their finger, made paint and ice cream, and took a tour of the facility. It was a fun filled day!

Kindergarten had a blast this week making applesauce! The students cut up the apples, adding them to a crockpot with lemon juice, sugar and cinnamon to make a tasty treat! Cooking at school is always a great time.

Happy Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. Let us strive to be like Mary, who was free from sin, as we say yes to God and His plan for our lives.

May we all feel the Peace of Christ as we light our Advent candle today.

We are sending prayers of gratitude and thanksgiving today for Terry Dixon and Tom Dwyer.

Our students had the opportunity to visit the Community Festival of Nativities earlier this week. Monsignor Brownsey led them in a discussion about Nativities and their history throughout our church and then students spent time exploring, studying, and pondering their beauty.
