Today at St Mark, we celebrate our Parish! We are filled with gratitude for all the support our St. Mark Parish provides to the school. Your prayers lift us up and we hope our prayers can lift you up today! It’s such a joy to celebrate with our church parishioners, too! #CSW22

Our sixth graders went to Peoria Notre Dame yesterday. They participated in a Scholastic Bowl Match against other area Catholic Grade schools. They had a great time! SMS Alums and Student Ambassadors Anny Ahl, Ellen Dahlquist, Jesus Prieto, and Hadley Stecher were there to help!

Preschool students are learning about our community and the people who help our community. Mrs. Bencher came to talk about helping keep our smiles healthy. The preschoolers had lots of questions for her and they learned a lot about being a community helper!

We are taking time to focus on friendships and understanding God's call to be in community. Students are hearing that we need each other and that God wants us to encourage and build up each other.

Our preschool through 2nd grade students had the opportunity to adore the Eucharist today with Monsignor Brownsey. He spent time talking about how Jesus loves us and wants to spend time with us. Learning traditions of our faith is one of the ways that makes St. Mark's great.

We are proud of these young men and their teammates who took home 2nd place in the Monsignor Livingston Memorial Tournament for 5th grade boy’s basketball!

We are excited to be starting a new social emotional learning program in our school. As we look to start the new year off on a strong foot, it's important to help equip our students with the tools for success in school, friendships and life!
