5th grade wrote and performed skits about the water cycle using props they made themselves or brought from home.

On our early dismissal days, our students work on building their social and emotional learning skills. Third grade did their Friendzy lesson focused on "respond instead of react". Students performed skits that demonstrated this skill. We have some performers in this class!

Kindergarten students had a fun walk through school as they went on a letter and number hunt!
Preschool students had a blast making gingerbread houses this week! Using their hand muscles to spread frosting, open wrappers and place candies and sweets on their houses is a fun way to build strength. Plus, it's always exciting to sneak a few licks of frosting!
Eighth grade students are in their Art Era as they make some fun disco balls. It's a fun way to reinforce the concepts of tints and shades.
Santa? I know him! 3rd grade students are working on their very own Jolly Big Guy and getting in the holiday spirit!
Our preschool students will hold their Christmas Concert on December 19th at 6:00. All are invited to attend and listen to the preschool children.
We invite you to our Christmas program on December 14th at 6:30 pm. Doors open at 6:00. Students should dress nicely, no jeans. Students will enter with their parents or guardians and sit with their class until the end of the program. Please enjoy the entire concert with us.
A group of St. Mark eighth grade students helped paint a mural at Northwoods mall today.
8th grade girls were invited to Caterpillar's Introduce a Girl to STEM Day yesterday. They used a 3D pen to draw designs, drove machine simulators, created a circuit card, and constructed a catapult. St. Mark's girls took 2nd place in the launch competition!
Our students and teachers were blessed with the opportunity to visit the Community Festival of Nativities this morning in preparation for Advent. We started off with an explanation from Monsignor Brownsey about sacramentals, then students explored the many nativities on display.
PSA has a meeting scheduled to finalize plans for the Santa Breakfast and is still looking for volunteers to help out!
