Fourth grade students were working on stained glass art for the Feast of St. Mark today. Saint Mark is the patron saint of stained glass workers and the stained glass in our church is some of the most beautiful religious art we have.

In preparation for their First Communion, the second grade students painted Blessing Cups and today the cups were blessed and presented to them. These cups and the sharing of them are a rich symbol of unity and blessing, which families can use on special occasions or meal times.

Jesus shows what it means to be a servant leader in the washing of the feet of the apostles at the last supper. In the act of washing their feet, Jesus shows us that the basic identity of all in service, is that we are equal in dignity, united amid diversity.
