We would love to have you join us as we celebrate All Saints Day on Wednesday, November 1st at 8:00 am Mass. As a reminder, students must remain sitting with their class but parents may sit with their student's class and their student.
We will have 20 styles of easy-to-paint, ceramic ornaments from Art at the Bodega, plus all the supplies to paint them! They will be taken to get a clear-glaze and fired in the kiln. All ornaments will be available to pickup at the Santa Breakfast, just in time to hang on trees!
To celebrate Halloween, all students can wear an orange or black shirt tomorrow! Preschool students can dress in their costumes but should bring a change of clothes for the afternoon.
3rd grade students enjoyed their field trip to Tanner's Apple Orchard yesterday! They took a tour, explored the orchards and had some fun too!
The 8th and 2nd grade prayer pals spent time together making rosaries on Wednesday. We love seeing the sweet relationships form and knowing that the younger students have such great role models to look up to.
We would love to honor the memory of your loved ones on our SMS Ofrenda for Dia De Los Muertos. Bring framed photographs and special food items by Monday, October 30th and we will display them on our ofrenda.
Kindergarten, First and Second graders headed to the Pumpkin Patch for some fall fun! The rain and cool temps didn't stop them from enjoying themselves!

4th grade is having fun! They decorated pumpkins on Tuesday and had a special guest teacher for junior achievement on Wednesday. Then they celebrated World Harry Potter Book Day with some fun STEM challenges and learned the Wingardium Leviosa spell in charms class.
Earlier this month, the 8th grade had a great visit to PND! Science experiments, History Jeopardy, Math trashketball, Spanish balloon races, building a bridge, and team work lego building were some of the fun activities they enjoyed!
Make sure you get ready for our SMS Trunk or Treat this Saturday! It's sure to be lots of fun. And don't forget to send in candy for our Candy Wars! The competition is heating up!
We are proud of our 7/8 grade girls PPSA Soccer team as they won the Championship last night at Peoria Notre Dame! Congratulations to all the athletes who participated and to all the Marksmen who played soccer this year on a great season!
