Beautiful Christmas art from our students!

Merry Christmas from all of us at St. Mark School. May the peace of Christ be with you as we celebrate His birth.

The Preschool Concert was last night and was full of smiles, songs, and laughs as we enjoyed the wonder of little voices!

The third grade and sixth grade students put on their Jesse Tree presentation yesterday. They adorned a Jesse tree with illustrated ornaments that represent the people, prophesies, and events leading up to the birth of Jesus. This connects the Old Testament to Jesus' birth.

We love hanging out with our buddies, especially when we get to spend time on a special project, like the 1st and 4th grade classes did yesterday!

St. Mark’s students competed in the Moline First Lego League regional on Saturday. St. Mark’s sent two Lego League teams - Gold and Blue.
The Gold Team won the Breakthrough Award. This award goes to the team that demonstrates a shining example of excellent Core Values. They show that they truly understand that what they discover is more important than what they win.
The Blue Team won the Robot Design Award which goes to a team that uses outstanding programming principles and solid engineering practices to develop a robot that is mechanically sound, durable, efficient and highly capable of performing challenge missions.
The Blue Team will advance to the Sectional Tournament next month.
Congratulations to all 20 of our SMS Lego team members on an excellent performance at regionals!!

Wednesday was a really rad day! 3rd and 4th grade celebrated the 80th day of school with lots of fun activities and some totally tubular throwbacks, from Runts to leg warmers and music through the decade too!

Grant peace, justice and prosperity to our peoples; for we entrust to your care all that we have and all that we are, our Lady and Mother. We wish to be entirely yours and to walk with you along the way of complete faithfulness to Jesus Christ in His Church; hold us always with your loving hand.

5th grade wrote and performed skits about the water cycle using props they made themselves or brought from home.
