Water Day 2024 fun!

Water Day is always a huge hit with the younger students and this year was epic!

3rd, 4th and 5th grade students headed to Detweiler Park this month for some serious nature fun! They went for a hike on a forest trail, played games, created art in the woods with Mrs. Tomlins, enjoyed a picnic lunch and had time to just be kids outside! What a treat!

Today we recognized all of our track participants. We also cheered on Bryer Blackford for beating the 6th school long jump record and for heading to State this weekend with our co-op team with St. Vincent de Paul!! We wish everyone the best of luck!

What a joyful morning as we celebrate the Mass with our 2nd grade students who are fully participating for the first time. May God bless you.

We want to celebrate you and all your hard work this school year! All SMS parents/guardians/family members and caregivers are invited to our Volunteer Appreciation Night, sponsored by your PSA! The link to RSVP is in the Marksmen Memo and we'd love to see you there!

We are proud of these students for working hard and being brave enough to stand up and present in front of people!

Third graders put on their living museum this week! It's a fun culminating project for both the students and their museum visitors.

Thank you to our amazing lunchroom staff for all they do to provide nutritious meals for our students! Fuel for our bodies and our brains helps us to grow and learn everyday at St. Mark School!

Happy School Principals' Day to our very special Dr. Dillon! If you see her around today, make sure you tell her thanks for all she does for our students and families!

Tomorrow is an early dismissal day and Spirit Day!

Our Second grade students received their Blessing Cups at our Feast Day Mass last Thursday. Please keep all of these children in your prayers this week as they finish their preparations to receive Jesus through the Eucharist this coming Saturday.

Preschool had a great study of farms! From animals to plants and even a visit to the Farm Park, they enjoyed every minute!

Come join us as we finalize our plans for Teacher Appreciation Week! We could use your ideas and help!

Some of our Junior High students spent time on a tour of the Greater Peoria Airport last week!

Some kinder friends with their "B for Beads" creations as part of the ABC Countdown!

Earlier this week, our Jr. High Science teacher, Mrs. Johnson, spent some time with the younger classes and boy, did they have fun! She did an elephant toothpaste experiment with them and they all really enjoyed it!

Happy Feast of St. Mark! We can't wait to celebrate our Feast Day with our students and teachers. Please join us for Mass at 8:00 am. This is also when our future first communicants will receive their Blessing Cups as they prepare for 1st Holy Communion.

We are so lucky to have them! 💙💛

St. Mark School is pleased to offer a quicker way to shop for Back to School supplies this year! Each grade level has the supplies you need to have a successful start to your year all ready to go. It's a convenient option for busy families. The best part is it will be waiting in the classroom for your child on the first day of school!
