Lunch Menu

There is an early dismissal next Wednesday, November 10th at 11:30AM. 

Sack lunches will be sent home with all students and aftercare will be available.

We will be celebrating Veterans Day on November 11th. Students are invited to wear a red, white, or blue shirt. Veterans Day Flyer

IDPH has released a Holiday Safety Guide. Please take some time and review if you have any questions. 

Our 6th grade boys basketball team is looking for a coach! Please contact Shannon Alexander or OJ Skinner if you are interested in helping. 

We have had an excessive number of late arrivals. Please remember, late arrivals are disruptive to the teacher and classmates, morning announcements, and the classroom routine. Students must be at school on time each day at 7:50AM. Breakfast will not be provided after 7:55AM. 

We have quite a few students showing up to school without a mask. Please make sure your child has a mask each day for school. We have some in case of emergencies but cannot supply a mask each day.

Due to the change in weather, students need to be prepared for recess and PE outside. Students can bring hats, gloves, and coats. Students should also have sweatshirts that are dress code appropriate for inside the classroom. Until the boiler gets turned on, it will be chilly in the building. Please remember to LABEL your child’s items such as sweatshirts, coats, lunchboxes, etc. This makes it easier to return 

items to students who may lose something.

Picture Day - Proofs & Retakes

Parents should have received an email with your child’s picture proof. If you did not, please let the office know. Picture retake day will be Wednesday, November 10th.

Donations Needed

We are also in need of donations of small cups and/or small water bottles. The art room is also looking for donations of felt and embroidery thread (any color). Please continue to send a water bottle to school each day with your child.

Auction Committee - HELP NEEDED!

The St. Mark's School Auction needs you! This very fun event, which is the school's largest fundraiser, is scheduled for March 12. That may seem like a ways away, but it is really right around the corner! We are very excited to be back in person at the Itoo Hall. The auction committee is a great way to get a group of friends together and do great things for the school at the same time!

For the auction to be successful, we need many parent volunteers. We are looking for people interested in co-chairing the auction and also chairing various committees, including live auction, decorations, dessert dash, and check in/check out.
