Thoughts on St. Mark School
St. Mark School has the best students and staff! I am blessed to be surrounded by such caring families and community that fully supports the mission of our school.
Personal Note
Having been raised in a Catholic family and attending Catholic school almost my entire educational career; I understand my responsibility as the Principal is to ensure your child receives a quality, faith-based education within a safe, respectful environment. I know the staff at St. Marks’s shares that same focus. As a mother, I understand the trust we put into our schools to help guide and teach our children. My husband, Tim, and I have three boys who attend St. Vincent de Paul School, the same school my husband attended.
Prior to my position at St. Mark's, I worked at Bradley University for the College of Education and Health Sciences. My early career began in the Chicago and Peoria Public Schools as a middle school teacher. I hold a Master’s in Teaching and Learning from DePaul University and a doctorate in Education Administration from Illinois State University. Much of my research and interests lie in reflective practice and professional development. I hope to continue to find ways for our school to be engaged in our local community while at the same time strengthening our faith, academics, and extra-curricular involvement.
