Happy Friday! Today is the end of the first quarter…can you believe it? Conferences are scheduled for November 2nd and 3rd. You should have received an email from Dr. Dillon with details about conferences and a link to specify which day you would like your conference. Kindergarten – 8th conferences will be held on Thursday evening from 4:30-7PM and Friday morning from 8-10AM. Pre K conferences will be held in November, prior to Thanksgiving Break. More information regarding Pre K conferences will be sent home at a later date.

Speaking of conferences, this is just a reminder that we will dismiss at 11:30AM on November 2nd, and there will be NO LUNCH and NO AFTERCARE on that day. There will be NO SCHOOL on November 3rd. As a clarification, Pre K will be following the same schedule as Grades K-8. Our Pre K will dismiss at 11:30AM on November 2nd and they will not have school on November 3rd.

Volunteer Opportunity

On Saturday, October 28th, the Bradley Fellows will be here from 9AM-noon to help clean up the grotto and the playground. If you have the time and would like to join them, this would be an excellent opportunity to earn volunteer hours for your family. You will need to bring your own rakes and gloves. We will be sprucing up the grotto area on this day, so if anyone has hostas that need to be divided, please bring them that morning. If you can try to keep them surrounded by soil, that would be great! Finally, we would also welcome any extra bricks or flagstone pavers you might have and are not using.

Fundraiser Information

Orders will be available for pick-up Tuesday, Oct 24 between 3:00 – 4:30PM and will need to be picked up during that time, as some orders will contain frozen foods. An adult will need to sign for the items. Orders will NOT be sent home with students. Please be patient when coming in to pick you your orders, we will have them sorted by grade to help ease any confusion.Thank you in advance for your participation and cooperation. Any questions, feel free to email psa or call/text Cachet 309-397-7642.

Picture Retakes

Picture retakes will be done on Wednesday, November 8th. If your child was absent on the first picture day or needs to have their picture retaken, they can dress in nice clothes on that day.

Uniform Reminders

Please remember that from November 1st to March 31st, students are not allowed to wear shorts or skorts as part of their school uniform. Halloween Harvest Festival

Candy Wars!

It is time for Candy Wars! As we start to gear up for the Harvest Festival, we will be collecting candy for October 16-27. We need donations of bagged, pre-wrapped candy! Please make sure that all donations are marked with your child’s grade.

The winning class will get a spirit day and a treat. As of this afternoon, KIndergarten and 3rd are tied for the lead.

Halloween Harvest Festival

Our annual Halloween Harvest Festival will be held on Friday, October 27 from 5-8PM. Please plan on joining us for a night of spooky family fun!

Fun and Fright on Fredonia

Join Bradley’s Fraternity and Sorority Life for the 3rd Annual Fright and Fun on Fredonia. It’s happening Thursday, October 26th from 5 to 7 p.m. on Fredonia Avenue. This free kid-friendly Halloween event will offer free candy, carnival games and other activity booths. Dress up in your best costume, enter a mummy wrapping contest and much more. Fraternities and Sororities at Bradley want to give back to the neighborhood in which they live and provide a free, safe, alternative/additional Halloween activity for our community and neighbors. This event is free and open to the public.

We are still in need of help for the following activities:

  • Room Parents – 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th Grades
