Please be aware that student grades for Quarter 1 will not be available in Parents Web next week so that teachers can finalize report card grades. Report cards will be emailed to all parents/guardians at the end of next week.

Renweb Updates

We wanted to make you aware of changes that may affect your usage of ParentsWeb or the RenWeb Home App.

Four years ago, RenWeb was acquired by another company called FACTS, and on Friday, October 12, they launched a new website and rebranded the RenWeb company to the FACTS name.

What does this mean for you?

  • The way you log into your accounts will not change (whether in ParentsWeb or on the RenWeb Home app). Your usernames and passwords will remain the same.

  • You can still log into the RenWeb Home app, although you may see new colors and logos in the app.

  • If you currently go to RenWeb.com to access ParentsWeb, you will be able to continue doing so for a time, but you’ll want to start making the switch and logging in at FACTSMgt.com.

  • There are additional login instructions on the Parent Resources sheet that FACTS provided. This sheet was attached to this week’s eFolder.

If the name RenWeb is going away, are any other names going away?

Yes, but FACTS is taking a methodical process to the product name changes. The RenWeb Home app will continue to be called the RenWeb Home app. You can search “RenWeb Home” in the App Store or Google Play to find it.

The name ParentsWeb will be changing to FACTS Family Online. However, you will still login using the same credentials at FACTSMgt.com and you will still use it the same way once you’ve logged in.

Thank you for your flexibility and please let the school office know if you have any other questions regarding the change.

Family Lunch and Before/Aftercare Balances

Please be sure you are checking your family lunch and before/aftercare account balances via ParentsWeb. Instructions are below.

Once logged into your parents web account, select the FACTS tab on the left hand side.

Once on the FACTS screen you will see a snapshot of your balances. You will also see an option on the bottom right of this page for the “FACT home page” select that option and you will be taken to your FACTS account. Here is where you will be able to view our charges in detail.

Any questions or concerns, please contact the office.

*Please be sure to pay any balances promptly.

Illinois Invest in Kids Tax Credit Scholarship Program

The Invest in Kids Scholarship is offered through the Illinois’ Tax Credit Scholarship program and generates private dollars for K-12 scholarships to low-income and working-class students who attend qualified non-public schools throughout Illinois.

St. Mark had approximately $47,000 available to award families. 87 students applied for assistance and 18 students were awarded scholarships. This was 20% of the students needing assistance for this school year. Based on need and first-come, first-serve basis, these families received 100%, 75%, or 50% of their tuition, and the donor receives a 75% Illinois tax credit on the amount of their donation to the SGO, Scholarship Granting Organization. We are grateful to all of our donors, and truly appreciate their help!

As you can see, we still have a great need for donations. Please see the two attachments to this week’s eFolder entitled, “CDOP Invest in Kids donation flyer,” and “Tax Credit Scholarship Program Process for Donors” for information regarding donating to the 2018 tax credit for the Illinois Invest in Kids Program.

S.M.A.R.T. Kids

The S.M.A.R.T. Kids will be holding a Bake Sale on Wednesday, October 24th after school. All items will be 50¢ each. The bake sale will be held on the sidewalk weather permitting.

Career and Resource Fair

St. Mark will host a Career and Resource Fair on November 8th from 6:00-7:30 PM, to share information about Career Exploration and Community Resources. We will also share information about Scholarship Opportunities (as it relates to St. Mark School and Peoria Notre Dame).

We are still collecting BoxTops. The classroom that collects the most BoxTops wins a $50 gift card (teacher’s choice). Collection ends October 24th.
