Happy Friday! We hope that everyone enjoyed the break of a long weekend and the short week this week. We are quickly approaching the end of the first grading period. If you were unable to attend last week’s Parent / Teacher conferences and would like to talk to your child’s teacher, please contact the teacher to schedule a time to meet. Further down in the e-folder you will see multiple notices from Peoria Notre Dame. Parents of 8th grade students are strongly encouraged to sign their child up to take this test, even if you do not know for certain what you high school plans are for next year. We also recommend attending the Open House so that you can see what PND as to offer!
With this week’s drastic change in the weather, we would like to remind you to make sure that your children are properly dressed for a building that is a bit cool. Layers would be a good idea for days that are cold in the morning and possibly a bit warmer after lunch. We try to wait to start the boiler until after the wacky temperature fluctuations have ended, so the classrooms are a bit chilly.
With the cooler weather, please make sure that your child’s coats and sweatshirts are marked with their name. This helps to ensure that they will eventually find their way home.
