Mark Your Clothing
With the arrival of winter weather AND new spirit gear, please make sure that all of your child’s clothing (including hats, mittens, and boots) are marked with their name. This will make it much easier for misplaced items to make their way back to your home.
Please remember that boots are to be worn on the playground and are not part of the dress code. If your child wears boots to school, please make sure to send uniform shoes to be worn in the building.
Annual Santa Breakfast and Cookie Walk
The St. Mark PSA will be holding its annual Santa Breakfast and Cookie Walk this Sunday, December 9, from 7:30-11:30 AM. Admission is $3/child, $5/adult and includes delicious pancakes with all the trimmings.
The Cookie Walk will be held that morning in the main hallway. Yummy cookies and candies will be available for $6 per pound.
Please remember to drop your cookie donations off tomorrow, Saturday, December 8th, anytime from 9 AM – Noon.
Our Christmas program will be held on Monday, December 10th. Students need to arrive at the church at 6 PM. The program begins (in the church) promptly at 6:30pm.
Students will leave their coats with their parents. Each grade level will remain in the church for the duration of the program (PreK 3 and PreK 4 will be allowed to sit with their parents after their performance at the beginning).
It is expected that each student attend the program unless there is an extreme circumstance – such as your family being out of town. If you have such a conflict, please email Miss Connon at (aconnon) to make her aware. Students will need to be dressed in their “Sunday best” – no jeans, t-shirts, etc. Their school uniform would be appropriate but is not required to be worn.
Thank you very much for your support of St. Mark’s and of our music program!
Scrip for Christmas
Don’t forget to purchase St. Mark Scrip for your Christmas shopping. Gift cards make great gifts for friends and family who live out of state. Use Scrip to purchase your Blue Bow gifts. Any cards listed on shopwithscrip.com are available for purchase. Also, smaller denomination cards are available for some retailers for a limited time. Scrip can be ordered in the school office, or can be purchased after all Sunday Masses. Orders for small denomination cards must be placed by December 10th. All other cards need to be ordered by December 17th in order to by received by Christmas. If you have any questions, please contact Pat Nedza at 697-4845. Thank you for supporting St. Mark Scrip.
Please remember that the profits from Scrip is how we are able to give our teachers and staff a small Christmas gift. The more families that use Scrip, the more we are able to give them. Unfortunately, last year and this year we had to reduce the amount we were able to give because Scrip sales were lower. If you do not understand how Scrip works, please contact Pat Nedza so she can explain. You also receive part of the profits in July if your family earns enough profits. This is a win/win for everyone!!
