eFolder for April 13

Happy Friday! Goodbye winter, hello spring! We are into the final stretch of the school year, with only six weeks of school remaining. Where has the school year gone?

Mathews Family

The Matthews family has expressed their deep thanks for the outpouring of generosity from the St. Mark Community. The recent loss of their home due to fire has taken its toll. We would like to relieve them of the burden of tuition for their two children in our school. If you would like to contribute to this cause, please call the school or parish office.

Thank you to those who have already contributed help to the family with donations to the Go Fund Me page, the SignUp Genius page, and the donations of household goods, clothing, and gift cards. The generosity of the SMS family is so very heart-warming!

Spalding Scholarship Applications

If you have not yet filled out an application for the Spalding Scholarship, you only two more days to complete it. Applications are due Sunday, April 22, and must be accompanied by your W-2 and a copy of your 2017 tax return. More information is available on the Diocesan website, with instructions in both English and Spanish. https://cdop.org/why-choose-catholic-schools/financial-assistance/

Update from the Diocese

Due to the newness of the tax credit scholarship program through the Invest in Kids Act, we are recommending that ALL families who need financial assistance also apply for a Spalding Scholarship.

To help facilitate the application process, we are extending the Spalding Scholarship deadline by one week to Sunday, April 22.
